Charles A. Westfield, III MS, DVM

Dr. Westfield received the Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree, Cum Laude, from the University of Missouri in 1985. He earned a B.S. degree in Biochemistry and a Master’s degree in Physiology from Purdue University.

After graduation, Chuck completed a rotating internship in Small Animal Medicine and Surgery at the world renowned Animal Medical Center in New York. Each year, only 20-25 new veterinarians nationwide are selected to join the ACM’s staff and be mentored by the best veterinary medicine has to offer. Chuck’s practice in New York City, between 1986-1996, included the Yorkville Animal Hospital and the Bergh Animal Hospital of the ASPCA, where he served as a senior staff clinician. In 1995, Chuck and his wife, Diana, moved to Hunterdon County, New Jersey.

His specific interests include internal medicine, reproduction, and soft tissue surgery. Having come from a dog show family background in Bulldogs and other breeds, Chuck, brings valuable dog experience to the practice. Chuck and Diana have 3 children, with 2 cats and 8 Dorset sheep on their old dairy farmstead in Readington Township.

                                Dr. Chester Paluchowski, DVM

I was born in Elizabeth, New Jersey, attended The Ohio State University and received my doctorate in Veterinary Medicine in 1982. In 1995 I moved to Hunterdon County and have been associated with Hunterdon Hills Animal Hospital in the practice of medicine, surgery, and dentistry since that time.

My interests and involvement in eastern philosophy and martial arts led to my association with the International Veterinary Acupuncture Society. I completed my formal training with them in 2000.

On a personal note, I reside here in Readington Township with my wife Diane and my daughters Tatiana and Valya. My son Dan is an E.R. physician in Minneapolis.

Interests and hobbies outside of veterinary medicine include skiing, biking, sailing and motorcycling.

While in college, Dr. Lancer played lacrosse, worked as a resident assistant, volunteered at animal shelters and was a member of two ambulance corps.

After graduation, he worked as a veterinary assistant in both general and referral veterinary practices until he moved to New Zealand for veterinary school. In 2009 he graduated from Massey University, an AVMA-accredited veterinary school.

Dr Lancer’s interests include endocrinology, clinical pathology, behavior, dermatology, infectious diseases and small ruminant medicine and husbandry.

Dr. Lancer and his cats “Tui” & “Kea” reside in the Round Valley area of Clinton Township, Hunterdon County.
